by my dear car...
it simply wont start and made some funny noises when we tried to start it.

so we had to take a cab to the (whatever the spelling is) and took a quick meal at a very lousy restuarant with no waitresses and messy service.

it was, as i expected,
not very good...

maybe i listened to the original cast too much (darling have a cd of the original cast singing)
so i am biased.

but oh well,
it was a fun experience, coz havnt been out and abt with darling for quite some time.
u see, he was in the hospital b4 the cny, and is still rather "delicate"

i am disappointed with mr.low.
i thought he has more intergrity.

i am disappointed with mr.lee.
he led his whole team down the manhole.

i am disappointed at the "me me me" singaporeans.

this disappointment might be comprehened by different pple in different ways.
some said: while, mr.lee won, din he?
my friend said i am angry.
no it's not. and it's not because of her also.
it's just a disgust at everything connected to politics.

which reminded me why i like soccer.
it's simple.
u have a strategy, u have able players, u go out and play.
whatever u do is visible to all. u dun need to explain and force others to explain what happened on the pitch.

politics is never that way.
u have to chase the rogues down the alley to make them apologies for what they said.
u have to plot (somtimes dirty) plots to win pple's sympathy.
and there are jokers like csj and sc.
(i asked my darling, if i go right in front of cjs, point at his nose and laugh, what will he do? darling just look at me and say "u gila lah" =P)

anyway,

some1 once told me that her friend has to wait long long to apply for a flat as she has voted for the oposition.
i asked my police friend, and she laughed until the cows come home.

there's one thing i wanted to blog abt but din. until today when i met sheik for dinner, and she complained abt this.

so, here it is:
attention all "plate-collectors" (i dunno what to call them -.-) in all foodcourts/hawker center/kopi tiam,
please dun
collect the paltes when members of the grp are still eating
anyhow mob the table until the cloth reach dangerously near the plate that we are still eating from
take our cans away before we can finish the drink inside the can, and then put it back on the table, when ur hands already touched the "opening"
come cleaning the table so late that we have already started eating surrounded with disgusting used plates
anyhow mob the table until tiny pieces of food come flyinging onto us
come to work when u are sick, and coughed into our food

i fully appreciate ur contributions to a clean environment. without u our foodcourts/hawker center/kopi tiam will be in a BIG mess.

but please aunties/uncles, spare a tot for the common "eaters"...

went to a "field trip" with my new colleagues the other day.

to enhance the sense of belonging, the boss said.

we went to the ford factory in bukit timah. and then to bukit chandu.

hei... dunno where's bukit chandu, rite?

me also dunno, until that day.
it's the place where the most bloody battle between the japs and a local regiment took place.
it's the place where lt. adnan died as a true soldier. it's the place where the malay regiment fought till the very last man.
the battle of bukit chandu showcased how brave the anti-jap soldiers could be.

our dept got one newsletter.

every section muz be the chief editor for 2 issues, and also do the layout for the issues.

this time is my turn. so i called up the last editor to get the new format (we changed the format last time round).

and guess what i got?

it's in inDesign format. that's ok. we always use inDesign format. but the thing is, she go and use photoshop to do the layout and compress each page into a single jpeg, then put together into the inDesign file.

which means, i cant touch each one of the pages. which means the whole file is useless. which means i have to re-do all the designs.

to think that she's studying part-time multi-media course at nyp.

well well. there's more drama in wow.

as my guild master's main character is in another guild (ya i know, very complicated story), he apointed 2 fellows to run the guild for him.

and yesterday, one of the guild masters simply quited.

he formed another guild, and claimed to have pulled some of the regulars over.

then this morning, he messaged me in game, asking me to invite him back to the guild.
(i am a senator, so can invite and promote)

and then he asked me to re-invite all those who have gone over to his new guild. and then he said he's disbanded the new guild.

he claimed to be disappointed with the other guild (which our guild master is in) coming here to pull our lvl 60s over, and wanted to form a endgame guild. but the plan didnt work out.

yesterday nite, we went to this instance called zf. it is a relatively simple instance, and the rewards are quite good.

we have a warrior (darling), a rogue, 2 mages and a priest (me). all real life frens. all lvl 40+

the combo is very good: the mages can sheep the mobs, the warrior and rogue can be the tank, and me can heal.

but this fren of ours (he's one of the mage btw), he kept forgetting to sheep the mobs, and forgot to get out of the mobs' way.

thus, me was killed (coz the game's algorithm: mobs kill healer 1st if not hold by tanks). more than once.

and then there was once when we were killing one of the bosses, he got me killed. then coz there's no healer, he got killed. and we nearly got wiped out.

(and then there's this glove that dropped off a mob boss. i rolled need. but he out-rolled me. later i checked his equipments, he's wearing lvl 44 gloves. and me? me wearing lvl 20+ gloves. -_- who need it more?)

got some annoying things:
1) hermy is not crazy over victor.
2) the actors are way too old.
3) oi! who siad the french and bulgarian (or hungarian? cant remember... old liao) are all gals/guys school!

i play wow for fun.

ya, sometimes i get angry at pple, at myself over petty little things in the game. but i got over them pretty fast.

like when i get into battle grounds (bg in short), i got killed a lot. but hey! it's all part of the fun, rite? win, lose, it's juz a game, rite?

wrong.

apparently, many of the players dun think so.

yesterday nite, i enter the ab, one of the 3 bgs available.
9 alliances vs 13 hordes.
outnumbered. but we did good. captured 3 of the 5 nodes.
then one of the alliance said "9vs13, we are gonna lose".
and some1 said in the raid chat "let's afk altogether so the hordes cant win".
...
i said "guys, fight!"
and one by one they afk from the battle.
in the end, the hordes were camping the graveyard so much that i have to afk as well, coz once i resurrected, i got killed before i could do anything.

allo, we captured 3 of the 5 nodes ok? we have a chance of winning ok? even if we lost, at least we give it a fight. but no, they have to afk from the battle.

"MAN U post-mortem
By Brian Miller

TODAY, they are dead and, to many, a crime had been committed. And like in all such cases, a post-mortem to determine the cause of death was conducted. These are the findings.

We noted severe head trauma inficted by a 'blunt object' - most probably a Ferdinand or a Ronaldo.

A check inside the cranium revealed a small brain - probably underused. Ears were red, the cause consistent with being tortured with a hairdryer.

An astounding find was made when the chest was opened. Heart was missing. Probably wrenched out after 45 minutes of hammering and left in someone's locker. More checks in the abdomen showed that guts were also in short order.

It was also noted that remnants of prawn sandwiches were found in the stomach.

Lower intentines were bloated, resulting in an excess of faeces. Some had made their way into the cranium area.

However, the legs were, surprisingly, in rather pristine condition which suggested they were not used as much as expected. Same too, a finger. Or rather, a middle finger. DNA testing revealed it belonged to a certain Portuguese player who used it for all the wrong reasons.

Finally, there was severe bruising in the general area of the buttocks. Markings revealed it could have been inflicted by a heavy boot made somewhere in Scotland.

Cause of death: A gut-less display by a team with no heart, no guts, little energy and with dirt in the cranium area."
